ホワイトニング後、どれくらいで食事ができますか？ How soon can I eat after whitening treatment?

神谷町デンタルクリニックではホワイトニング後の歯にミネラルのパックをさせていただいているので、歯へのミネラルをしっかり吸収させるために30分、ご飲食を待っていただいています。ですが、すぐにご飲食いただいても特に問題ありません。
赤ワインやカレーなどの色の濃いものもその日のうちに召し上がっていただけます。
We apply a mineral-rich pack after treatment to help your teeth absorb essential nutrients. Ideally, you should wait about 30 minutes before eating or drinking, but eating immediately won’t cause harm.
Even richly colored foods and drinks—like red wine and curry—can be enjoyed on the same day.

ホワイトニングの施術のとき、痛みはありますか？Will the treatment hurt?

エナメル質にクラックが入っていたりして、薬剤が象牙質に入り込んだり、歯の根元のセメント質が露出している場合、歯の知覚神経を刺激することで痛みを感じることがありますが、それらの部位を丁寧に確認し、ブロックしたうえでホワイトニングの施術に入るため、治療中に痛みを感じることはほぼありません。施術の際や施術後に、少しの痛みを感じることがありますが、大抵は24hでおさまってきます。
Most patients experience little to no discomfort.
In rare cases, if the whitening agent reaches exposed dentin or cementum through tiny enamel cracks, some sensitivity may occur. However, we carefully examine and protect these areas beforehand.
Mild sensitivity during or after the procedure is possible, but it usually fades within 24 hours.

ホワイトニングでどのくらい白くなりますか？　How white will my teeth get?

ホワイトニングの効果には個人差があります。
日常の習慣はもちろん、加齢や喫煙、食生活によっても歯はだんだんと着色してきます。着色が強い場合、ホワイトニングをしても自分が思い描く理想の歯の白さを手に入れるには時間がかかるものです。
患者様がどのような生活習慣をされているか、どのくらいの白さを求めているのかなどを含め、最適な方法を選択するためにカウンセリングをおこないます。
計画的にホワイトニングをおこなうことで、黄ばんでしまった歯もご自分が求める白さを取り戻していきます。ただし、神経を抜いてしまった歯などは他の歯と比べて白くなりにくい場合もあります。
テトラサイクリンによる歯の変色の場合、通常より回数がかかりますが、根気よくホワイトニングを行っていけば、歯を削らなくても明るい色になり、縞模様も目立ちにくくなります。
Results vary based on your lifestyle, age, and the extent of discoloration.
During your consultation, we’ll discuss your habits and whitening goals to design a plan tailored to your needs. With consistent treatment, even yellowed teeth can return to a visibly brighter shade.
Note:
Teeth that have undergone root canal treatment or are affected by tetracycline staining may require more sessions. However, even these can be noticeably improved without drilling, and banding can be reduced.

ホワイトニング方法にはホームホワイトニングとオフィスホワイトニングがありますが、違いはなんですか？　What’s the difference between in-office and at-home whitening?

ホワイトニングには、大きくわけて歯医者さんが施術をするオフィスホワイトニングと自宅で自分がおこなうホームホワイトニングの2つの方法があります。
ホームホワイトニングはホワイトニングジェルをトレーにとり、2～3時間装着します。これを毎日おこなうと１～2週間くらいで歯の色が１～２段階ほど白くなっていきます。正しいホワイトニングをおこなうため、自宅でホワイトニングをおこなう場合も歯医者さんに相談することをオススメします。
オフィスホワイトニングは、濃度が高いホワイトニング剤を使って光を照射することで効果を高めるので、一気に7段階ほど白くすることが可能です。（個人差があります）
In-Office Whitening: Performed at our clinic using high-concentration whitening agents and light activation. You can achieve up to 7 shades lighter in a single session (results vary).

At-Home Whitening: Involves wearing a custom tray with whitening gel for 2–3 hours daily. Within 1–2 weeks, teeth typically lighten by 1–2 shades.
Even with home treatments, we recommend professional guidance to ensure safety and effectiveness.

ホワイトニングで歯を白くする効果の持続期間はどのくらいですか？　How long does whitening last?

オフィスホワイトニングを一度だけ受けていただきますと、効果期間は約6ヶ月、白い状態を維持できますが、日々の喫煙やコーヒー、色の濃い食品を使った食事によって歯はまただんだんと黄色く後戻りしやすくなります。また、お手入れの苦手や不足によっても後戻りが起こりやすくなります。
ホームホワイトニングを継続するなどケアしていただくことで白さが持続します。神谷町デンタルクリニックのホワイトニングは、歯のミネラルを強くするトリートメントを使用した独自のメソッドにより一般的なものより長持ちしやすく、再石灰化を促すため歯が丈夫になります。
A single in-office session can keep your teeth bright for around 6 months. However, habits like smoking, coffee, and wine can gradually stain teeth again.
Ongoing care, such as home whitening touch-ups, helps extend the results.
